Undergrad Monelli Esfandiary Presents Flu Research at CDC & CSTE Conference

Monelli Esfandiary, a Population Health major, has been a key member of the College of Health community for four years. She recently presented her flu research at a prestigious CDC and CSTE conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Esfandiary's journey in flu research began when she started working with Professor John Smith from Harvard University's Department of Epidemiology. Together, they focused on predicting flu seasons before they occur.

She collaborated with Tom McAndrew to create weekly flu forecasts, demonstrating her dedication and skill in the field.
