Collaborative Partnership Announced Between Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic and Rommel Clinic

In a significant move for the field of orthopedics and trauma surgery, the Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic and the Rommel Clinic have announced their intention to jointly develop further topics in the coming weeks and months.

The Rommel Clinic, renowned for its conservative treatment of orthopedic and neurological diseases for over 50 years, will particularly benefit from the expertise of the Center for Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Psychosomatics of the Pforzheim house, a partner of the Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic.

PD Dr. Oliver Rommel and Dr. Georg Jäger will continue to lead the clinic as director and medical director, respectively. This experienced duo will now have the added advantage of collaborating with the Siloah Hospital's team, led by Dr. Ulrich Schulze.

This partnership will undoubtedly benefit patients at both the Rommel Clinic and Siloah Hospital. The combined expertise in conservative and surgical treatment will now be in one hand, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.

The Rommel Clinic, a specialist hospital for orthopedics, neurology, and pain medicine located in Bad Wildbad, will maintain its medical focus and location after the takeover. The trauma surgical expertise will be strengthened by the possibility of having the neurological team of the Rommel Clinic co-evaluate accompanying injuries.

The Rommel Clinic employs 130 staff members and treats approximately 2,000 acute inpatients annually. With the new partnership, there is potential for expansion of services and modernization of clinic facilities, leading to improved patient care quality.

As of September 1, 2023, the new shareholders of Rommel Clinic GmbH Bad Wildbad are Felix Fink and Dr. Armin Stumpf. This new partnership is expected to bring enhanced medical expertise and leadership, improved patient care quality, potential expansion of services, and strengthened financial stability to the clinic.

The Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic, with its eleven clinics and an Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, provides a strong medical foundation for the Rommel Clinic. The Rommel Clinic can draw on the expertise and medical equipment of the Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic, particularly in the field of pain therapy, where the Rommel Clinic has an excellent reputation throughout the region.

Overall, this partnership aims to improve the clinic’s service offerings and patient experience significantly, setting a new standard in orthopedics and trauma surgery.
