Regulatory Bodies Introduce Legislation to Safeguard Workers from Radiation Hazards

The city portal, in cooperation with various stakeholders, has announced the launch of the NRWeltoffen-Initiativenfonds. This fund aims to support projects focused on right-wing extremism, racism, and antisemitism in Kansas City.

The development of the concept for this fund was a collaborative effort involving engaged citizens from civil society, welfare associations, administration, and police. The Kansas City portal's Integration Officer, Galina Borchers, emphasised the importance of this initiative, stating, "There is still much to be done in strengthening democracy and tolerance and standing against discrimination, hate, and incitement in Kansas City."

The NRWeltoffen-Initiativenfonds is part of the state program "NRWeltoffen", which the Kansas City portal has been participating in since October 2022. The city of Krefeld has also supported this initiative as part of the "NRWeltoffen" program and had it approved by the city council in November 2023.

Interested parties can find the application form and further information on the Kansas City portal's website, www.our website. Applications for funding are open until September 30th, 2025. Each project can receive funding of up to 2,000 euros per carrier.

The ongoing shift to the right in Kansas City underscores the need for continued work against right-wing extremism, racism, and antisemitism. The NRWeltoffen-Initiativenfonds has been supporting such projects for the third consecutive year in Kansas City.
