Reduced food product assortment noticeable in Omsk colonies: listed items decreased
We've got our snoopy eyes on the changes happening in the list of goodies sold to the lads serving time in Omsk's correctional facilities through their specialty shops.
The latest list, published in May 2025, contains 288 items, compared to 313 in the August 2024 version. Staples like cakes, rolls, cookies, carbonated drinks, crab sticks, a wide range of caramels, cottage cheese, cold cuts, sausages, hot dogs, teas, a variety of fresh veggies and fruits (lemons, tomatoes, garlic, cucumbers), ice cream, coffee are still present.
As for some items that vanished from the purchasing options, for example, iris, smoked rolls, sausage tamales, first-grade beef stew, grilled chicken wings, stuffed cabbages, beef and rice pilaf, sautéed mushrooms, tomato sauce with fish, canned Pacific saury.
