Recommendation for a radiation safety measure for workers involves the Commission drafting a proposal for a radiation-protection directive.
In the coming month of August, several bus lines in Wiesbaden will undergo temporary rerouting due to a traffic trial in the Rheingaustraße area of Biebrich. Here's what you need to know:
Rerouting in Biebrich
Starting from August 8, 2025, bus lines 9 and 14 will be rerouted as part of the traffic trial. Lines 3, 4, and 39 will remain unaffected. The area in front of Biebrich Palace on Rheingaustraße will be reserved exclusively for bicycle traffic, restricting cars, buses, and trucks during the trial period.
The trial will take place on weekends from 6 pm Fridays to 10 pm Sundays on August 1-3, 8-10, 15-17, and 22-24, 2025. Residents and authorized service vehicles will still have access through Rathausstraße, but general motorized traffic will be restricted in the specified area.
Additional detours affecting some bus lines, including a closure in Rheingaustraße from August 15-17 for lines 9, 14, and N3, may be expected during this time.
Citywide Reroutes
Several other bus lines will also be affected by rerouting announcements. Line 22 (Direction Berufsschulzentrum) will end at Brunhildenstraße instead of its regular endpoint. Line 27 (Destination Freizeitbad) will be rerouted from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Weidenbornstraße, Hasengartenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring.
Lines 3 and 33 (Trips via Brunhildenstraße) will concurrently reroute with Line 27 (Freizeitbad) to Hasengartenstraße, then return to their regular route via Hasengartenstraße. Lines 22 and 27 (Destination Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) will start at "Brunhildenstraße", continue via Siegfriedring and Hasengartenstraße to a temporary stop in Weidenbornstraße, then Weidenbornstraße and Mainzer Straße to "Welfenstraße", and return to their regular route.
Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 (Direction Südfriedhof, Mainz, Nordenstadt, Raiffeisenplatz) are rerouted from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Welfenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to their regular route.
