Hey there! Here's a buzz you might be interested in. Econometrica, Inc., a management and analytics consulting firm, has kicked off a public comment period! The goal? Develop some badass measures for Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs).
So, what's the big deal? Despite the current system measuring OPO performance using Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, set in 2020, Econometrica wants to add some punch to the existing framework. They aim to make the system stronger, more trustworthy, and better at saving lives.
