Ravensburg Police Headquarters Welcomes 28 New Employees

The Ravensburg Police Headquarters began September on a positive note, welcoming 28 new employees to their ranks. The new recruits, comprising 18 police officers and 10 civil servants, were officially welcomed at a ceremony held at the Weingarten fire station.

In his welcome address, Police President Uwe Stürmer expressed his delight at the new additions and wished them a successful start in their new roles. He emphasized the importance of a 'we' feeling for support during challenging times, reiterating the motto of the current recruitment campaign, "You deserve a 'we'."

Stürmer also reminded the new employees that they will always be in the public eye and that respectful and considerate behavior is expected in the citizen-oriented police work. He encouraged them to maintain this standard throughout their careers.

The new employees were assigned to various departments, including two police stations, the criminal police, administration, the leadership and operational staff, and the press office. Among the new hires, ten administrative employees were hired, with two civil servants each being deployed at two police stations.

Fifteen police officers will reinforce patrol services and command and control center, with two joining traffic police and one assigned to criminal police. These new officers will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
