Man Causes Disturbance, Threatens Officers in Erlangen, Germany
A 39-year-old man caused a disturbance in his apartment on Artilleriestraße in Erlangen, Germany, on September 11, 2025. The incident led to a standoff with responding officers, during which the man threatened them with a knife.
The day before, on September 10, a resident of Hartmannstraße reported a man shouting loudly outside her apartment door. Later that day, she reported that the same man was back and behaving aggressively. The Erlangen City Police Station issued a dispersal order, but the man refused to comply.
The Special Operations Unit was called in to apprehend the uncooperative man. Due to his threatening behaviour and the use of a knife, the man was taken into custody. He sustained a minor injury during his apprehension and was treated at the hospital.
