Planned New Youth Assistance Announced by City and Institution
In an effort to provide targeted and intensive care for children and youth facing mental stress symptoms or illnesses, Bunte Feuer GmbH, a non-profit organization specializing in mental health support, is set to inaugurate a youth facility in both Halle (Saale) and Reideburg.
The youth facility in Halle (Saale), located on Diemitzer Street, will open its doors around mid-August, welcoming up to ten children and youth aged between seven and 21. The municipal building authority has confirmed that the facility will not impact neighboring property owners or public-law protected neighboring interests.
The Halle (Saale) facility will offer both outpatient and inpatient support, focusing on providing a structured and consistent daily accompaniment for the children and youth residing there. These young individuals often face challenging living circumstances, neglect, and severe overload situations, and the proposed social accompaniment and support from Bunte Feuer GmbH is aimed at addressing these needs.
In Reideburg, Bunte Feuer GmbH will open a similar facility, with the city of Halle (Saale) financing the project. At the inauguration, Bunte Feuer GmbH announced a comprehensive suite of mental health support services for the young residents. These services include individual counseling and therapy, group therapy sessions, workshops on stress management, crisis intervention services, family support and counseling, collaboration with schools, and creative therapies such as art, music, and movement therapies.
These services are designed to create a holistic support system for young people in Reideburg, ensuring early intervention and ongoing care for those experiencing mental health difficulties. Bunte Feuer GmbH is available for interested parties, questions, and suggestions regarding these services.
The renovation work in the annex of the Reideburg facility is also expected to be completed around mid-August. The organization has received approval for the change of use on both properties, and the city of Halle (Saale) is confident that these facilities will greatly benefit the local community.
