Parent contacts law enforcement when discovers an adult male sharing a bed with her underage daughter, 14 years old.
In Surprise, Arizona, an 18-year-old man named Stanton Williams is facing molestation charges. According to the Surprise Police Department, Williams allegedly molested a 14-year-old girl. The incident occurred in the bedroom of the 14-year-old girl, where Williams had snuck in through her window around 10 or 11 p.m. Williams had met the girl about six months ago at a park. The girl initially lied about her age to Williams, telling him that she was 16 years old. However, a few months ago, she admitted to Williams that she was, in fact, 14. Williams told investigators that he 'didn't know what that meant.' Despite this admission and his knowledge of her identification, Williams continued to engage in inappropriate behaviour with the girl. They had been 'dating' for three weeks according to the girl, and Williams' bond was set at $250,000. The mother of the girls called the Surprise Police Department on Monday, reporting the incident. No new location or time details were provided in this report. Williams was also aware that the girl's 12-year-old sister was present in the room during the alleged offence. No new information about the 12-year-old sister or the mother was provided. On Sunday night, Williams was kicked out of his home. Williams had already graduated from high school. He was booked into jail on two counts of molestation of a child. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting suspicious behaviour and the consequences that can arise from such actions.
