North Tulsa's Free Baby Shower: Resources, Fun & Safe Sleep Education

North Tulsa residents are invited to the North Tulsa Community Baby Shower, a free event focused on supporting expectant parents and families with young children. The Tulsa Health Department, along with generous sponsors, hosts this annual gathering on Saturday, September 20, at the YMCA Gym, TCC Northeast Campus, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event offers a wealth of resources and activities. Attendees can connect with local agencies, learn from educational sessions, and participate in fun activities. Food will be provided, and all attendees can enter prize drawings. This year, the event places a strong emphasis on infant safe sleep education to reduce infant mortality rates in the area. The Fatherhood Hub will also be present, offering resources tailored specifically for fathers. The baby shower is designed for expectant parents and families with children under one year old residing in North Tulsa zip codes.

The North Tulsa Community Baby Shower is a fantastic opportunity for expectant parents and families to connect with resources, learn essential skills, and enjoy a day of celebration. For more information, contact the Tulsa Health Department or visit their website.
