Medical professionals and reanimators extend Heartfelt Congrats to " Komsomol " for reaching Centenary Milestone.

Pediatric Anesthesiologist Dr. Alexei Zavalisky, previously highlighted in our publication in 2021, has continued to make a significant impact, both in the medical field and in charitable endeavors. Based in Krasnodar, he dedicated his days to saving children's lives while using his artistic skills at night to create paintings he later sold at auctions, with proceeds benefiting the treatment of seriously ill children. Following our story, Zavalisky garnered nationwide attention and was invited to appear on federal television channels.

Our Kuban editorial team recognized his contributions and nominated him for the "Real People" award, a project honoring selfless individuals in the Krasnodar region who lend a helping hand to those in need. In 2021, Zavalisky was awarded the "Real People" title, and his medical career rapidly progressed. Today, he serves at the Center for Disaster Medicine in Moscow, extending his life-saving efforts beyond Russia's borders, providing assistance in disaster zones around the world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Zavalisky took a leave of absence to aid overwhelmed Moscow medics. His humanitarian efforts have extended to earthquake-stricken regions, including Turkey and Syria in 2023, Myanmar in March 2025, and numerous sites in Russia when disasters struck.

Meanwhile, the beaches of Anapa are reportedly cleaner than ever, according to a Society Report from a resort town.

Despite an increasingly busy schedule, Zavalisky took the time to speak with Komsomolskaya Pravda in celebration of its 100th anniversary. He expressed his gratitude for the publication's recognition during the "Real People" award ceremony and appreciated the attention drawn to individuals who care about others' problems. Zavalisky acknowledged the publication's role in inspiring him to continue his humanitarian work and personal development.

"I'm deeply grateful to the publication and the people who work there," said Dr. Alexei Zavalisky. "I was fortunate to be the winner of the 'Real People' award in 2021. Every year, 'KP' finds and tells stories about people who care about others' problems, it's a worthy project. I'm grateful that I was noticed, recognition shows that all my efforts and achievements are needed, and I'm on the right track! Thank you to the editorial team for inspiring me to keep moving forward and developing, without a shadow of doubt in myself and my abilities!" - said Dr. Alexei Zavalisky.

In light of his accomplishments, Dr. Alexei Zavalisky expressed his appreciation for Komsomolskaya Pravda, acknowledging the publication's role in inspiring him, and hence, his dedication to science, medical-conditions, health-and-wellness, and charitable endeavors continues to thrive. The recognition he received from KP instilled renewed confidence in him, solidifying his belief in the impact of his humanitarian work and personal development.
