The Airbus H140, a state-of-the-art light twin-engine helicopter, is set to revolutionize emergency medical services (EMS) with its innovative design and advanced features. The H140 has been chosen by GMR, one of the largest operators of Airbus helicopters in North America, as one of the launch customers for this new aircraft.
The H140 boasts a larger cabin space that comfortably accommodates up to six passengers. Its large sliding doors provide easy access to the cabin, making patient transportation swift and efficient. The aircraft's cabin is equipped with large windows and an optimized layout, ensuring optimal visibility for medical personnel and a comfortable environment for patients.
Ted Van Horne, Chief Operating Officer of GMR, stated that the H140 will provide a better patient environment and allow GMR crews to deliver critical acute care to patients.
