On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, a specialist conference titled "Paths out of Addiction - Prevention and Challenges in Legal Substance and Behavioral Addictions" will take place at the Stadthaus, Marktplatz 2, Halle (Saale). This event is organised by the Educational Child and Youth Protection of the City of Halle (Saale) and the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) in Germany.
The conference's focus for 2025 is on addiction themes among children and youth, specifically substance-related dependencies and digital behavioral addictions. The goal is to sensitise pedagogical professionals from the fields of school, after-school care, and youth work to these topics.

Throughout the day, the conference will feature presentations from experts in the field of addiction and its impact on children and youth. The event will include discussions on the causes, consequences, and effective response options for the mentioned addictions.
The conference aims to equip pedagogical professionals with the knowledge and tools to address addiction issues in their respective fields. It is hoped that the conference will help to create a safer and healthier environment for children and youth in Halle (Saale) and beyond.
The conference is a timely and important event, given the increasing concerns about addiction among children and youth in today's society. The organisers encourage all pedagogical professionals to attend and take part in the discussions, as the knowledge gained can be invaluable in their work.
