Managing Separation and Raising Children: Resources for Parents
The Elternschule (Parent School), a part of hospital or clinic organisations such as Klinikum Saarbrücken and GFO Kliniken Rhein-Berg, is offering a free parent training in the Ludwigsburg and Waiblingen area. The training, focused on supporting individuals during challenging separation phases, will run from 29th September to 17th November 2025.
Registration for the training is open until 22nd September 2025. Interested parties can register using an internet-enabled device, preferably a tablet or laptop. Participation in the training is free.
The training consists of six modules, each covering different aspects of separation and co-parenting. The modules are titled "Separation and Opportunity", "Conflicts and Solutions", "My Child and Separation", "Parents Remain - Part 1", "Parents Remain - Part 2", and "Future Model Work Team".
The training materials aim to help participants implement the learned content in their daily lives. The training covers maintaining communication between parents, understanding children's needs in separation situations, and offering tips on co-parenting.
It is important to note that the Psychological Counseling Office of the District Administration and Caritas' Psychological Family and Life Counseling are separate entities providing counseling services.
