Hildestad was discharged from UnityPoint Health-Meriter emergency room around 1 a.m. and hasn't been seen since, according to the Madison Police Department. His condition, coupled with a possible medication shortage, has raised concerns for authorities.
At present, Hildestad does not have his cell phone or personal vehicle. The absence of these items complicates the search efforts.
