Khulna Tragedy: Day Labourer Abdul Hamid Found Dead in Fish Enclosure

A tragic incident occurred in Khulna city on Friday evening. Abdul Hamid, a 57-year-old day labourer, was found dead in a fish enclosure in the Arangghata area. Hamid, a resident of Rayermahal Northpara Bank Colony, had been struggling with mental distress due to financial hardship and family disputes.

Hamid's body was discovered hanging in a friend's fish enclosure. The identity of the friend who owned the enclosure has not been disclosed. Hamid's only child is currently in the hospital, which reportedly exacerbated his depression. The police have retrieved Hamid's body and sent it for autopsy at Khulna Medical College Hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest that Hamid's death was a suicide.

Abdul Hamid's death has left the community in shock. The police continue to investigate the incident. Hamid's family and friends are urged to seek support and counselling during this difficult time.
