Tyumen Region Expands Medical Screenings for Special Military Operation Participants

In the Tyumen region, expanded medical screenings for participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO) are currently underway, involving several regional medical institutions. These screenings aim to conduct comprehensive health evaluations tailored for military personnel.

The medical examinations include advanced diagnostic and testing procedures developed specifically with the professional activities of military personnel in mind. These procedures are being tested in Tyumen clinics alongside other cities such as St. Petersburg and Krasnodar, supporting the expanded screening efforts.

While the exact institutions involved in these screenings are not detailed, it can be inferred that major regional hospitals and specialized medical clinics in Tyumen are responsible. These institutions likely employ recent advancements in minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutics that can influence efficiency and thoroughness in medical screening.

Since April 2024, over 560 participants of the SVO have undergone these expanded screenings in the Tyumen region.

Soldiers can also receive medical rehabilitation and spa treatment at several facilities in the region. These include the Veterans of War Hospital, the regional "Gorodostroitel" rehabilitation center, the Yalutorovsk "Svetly" sanatorium-prophylactic facility, and the "Krasnaya Gvozdika" health and rehabilitation center.

In addition to medical care, social support centers have been operational in each municipal formation in the Tyumen region since the start of the SVO. These centers provide not only psychological support but also essential services to SVO participants and their families.

A new Telegram channel named "Tyumen Topics" has been established for news updates in the Tyumen region. Subscribing to this channel allows users to receive news updates first.

Furthermore, in September 2024, the Tyumen Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center began operating, equipped with modern equipment. This center is likely to play a significant role in providing mental health support to SVO participants and their families.

The Tyumen region, thus, is taking proactive steps to ensure the well-being of its SVO participants, offering comprehensive medical screenings, rehabilitation, and support services.
