HRV Simulation Showcases Virtual Reality Solutions for Healthcare

Established in France, HRV Simulation specializes in virtual reality (VR) technology, haptic technology, and simulation for the healthcare sector. HRV Simulation will showcase these products and more at a forthcoming event on April 10-12, 2024, at booth B37.

The company operates under three distinct brands, each catering to different markets:

  • Virteasy: The Virteasy Dental brand provides dental universities worldwide with a dental surgery training simulator for learning through virtual surgeries on synthetic patients since 2015.
  • Nawo: This brand offers ergonomic analysis software utilizing motion capture technologies, whether or not they include sensors. The software assists in reducing the occurrence of Musculoskeletal Disorders, benefiting manufacturers from across the globe since 2017.
  • Cottos: Launched in 2022, Cycléo de Cottos is an interactive virtual bike designed for senior citizens. The bike offers a fun and engaging platform for Adapted Physical Activity, promoting both physical and cognitive stimulation within aging populations.

At the upcoming event, HRV Simulation will present all their products and share insights into their research partnerships with LAMPA and LIUM, as well as their ongoing R&D projects, such as Malaumain, a regional PIA (Future Investment Programme) initiative aiming to evaluate MSD risks.

HRV Simulation's current innovation lies in the Cycléo bike, an immersive VR platform exclusively for senior citizens. By employing VR technologies, the device provides distinctive physical and cognitive stimulation, fostering wellness and fitness for the elderly.

The continuous advancement of VR/AR technologies, in harmony with AI, has enabled the company to develop innovative solutions. For instance, with the Nawo brand, AI contributes to 3D reconstruction of the human body, reducing the complexity of haptic technologies and democratizing their use for improved ergonomic analysis.
