Fringe Groups persistently advocating for compulsory mask-wearing among children in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

Let's dive into the mask nonsense that's still causing a rowdy ruckus, shall we? It sure seems like folks are acting all cavalier, tossing those masks aside like they're yesterday's newspaper. But hold up, masks ain't gone for good and the hardline mask extremists are still eager to push their twisted truth on everyone.

You see, them hospital systems in the Bay Area have been enforcing mask mandates for the better part of six months, and they ain't planning on stopping any time soon. Not because of a rise in COVID or respiratory illnesses, but to prevent the spread of the virus. Ignoring, of course, the irritating fact that masks don't work against any respiratory viruses.

That's bad enough. But things get even worse when you consider the dedicated anti-science maskers who are hell-bent on pushing for kids to be forced into masks indefinitely. They can't just admit they were wrong, can they?

C'mon, let's take a gander at the latest rubbish "study" from Michigan State University that claims school mask mandates saved lives. This study is the perfect example of pseudoscience and political propaganda masquerading as science and fact.

The researchers claim there's "substantial evidence" supporting masks to stop COVID. But when you take a closer look at their sources, you find that they're quoting studies that don't provide evidence that masks slow the spread of the disease. They're using debunked social science activism instead of referring to the Cochrane Review, a gold-standard evidence review that found no high-quality data to support masking anyone.

But let's not just dismiss these clueless researchers without checking out their methodology. Their explanation of their methodology essentially debunks their own conclusions. In essence, they're saying that lifting mask mandates will increase the spread of COVID in schools and communities. But there's no evidence whatsoever that masks stop COVID, that mask mandates stop COVID, or that masks in schools are effective in any way.

So what we're left with is a ridiculous model that's based on nothing more than the ridiculous assumption that masks work and that kids will transmit the virus to older adults. That's not science; that's just bullshit.

The Los Angeles Times, our good friends in spreading COVID misinformation, eagerly shared this study as if it were proof of mask mandate efficacy. But it's nothing more than post hoc reasoning at its finest. It's like saying, "I watched television, then 100 miles away, someone I don't know fell off a train. Therefore, my television watching caused the person to fall off a train."

In the end, this study is just another example of how junk "science" is used to further an ideological agenda. It's dangerous, misleading, and has the potential to cause harm to children who are forced to wear masks for no good reason. Keep an eye out for this type of junk science, folks, it's everywhere.

The ongoing mask debates appear to overshadow the importance of prioritizing health-and-wellness, including mental-health, fitness-and-exercise, and nutrition. Despite the lack of substantial evidence supporting masks to prevent COVID, advocates are pushing for prolonged mask-wearing, even in children's education, disregarding scientific reviews contradicting their claims.
