Freiburg & Bad Krozingen Host Free CPR & Defib Training on World Restart a Heart Day
On October 16, Freiburg and Bad Krozingen will celebrate World Restart a Heart Day with free CPR and defibrillator training sessions. The Universitäts-Herzzentrum Freiburg and the initiative 'Bad Krozingen schockt' have joined forces to organise these life-saving events.
In Freiburg, a parallel action will take place on the Platz der Alten Synagoge from 10 am to 5 pm. Participants can practice CPR and learn about sudden cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, in Bad Krozingen, an information booth will be set up on the Lammplatz from 9 am to 3 pm, offering defibrillator demonstrations from the 'Bad Krozingen schockt' initiative. Additionally, a free CPR course will be held in the evening in the auditorium of the Heart Center in Bad Krozingen, with no registration required.
These events aim to reduce inhibitions and encourage more people to perform life-saving measures. By learning CPR and how to use a defibrillator, attendees can help save lives in their communities.
