Free Autumn Events in Waldniel Focus on Health, Safety, and Community
A series of free events focused on health, safety, and community are taking place in Waldniel this autumn. Topics range from understanding chronic pain to maintaining self-determination during illness and ensuring safety in public spaces.
Kicking off the series is a herb walk in Kaiserpark on October 11th from 10 am to 2 pm. This event will focus on immune-boosting plants, helping participants learn about nature's remedies.
Later that month, on October 28th from 6 pm to 7 pm, a themed evening will delve into understanding and managing chronic pain. Led by Rehatrainer and Heilpraktiker Mario Zippel, attendees can expect valuable insights into coping with long-term pain.
On October 22nd, two events will take place. In the afternoon, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm, Kriminalhauptkommissarin Britta Färvers will lead a lecture on 'Safety in Public Spaces' at Markt 22. Earlier that day, from 2 pm to 4 pm, a themed evening about 'power of attorney' and maintaining self-determination in illness will occur, though the leader of this event remains unknown as of now.
The season's events will conclude with a lantern procession focused on the St. Martin's parade on October 30th from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lanterns.
These events, all free of charge, offer Waldniel residents and visitors alike the opportunity to learn, engage, and connect with their community. Whether it's gaining knowledge about health and well-being or enhancing safety awareness, there's something for everyone this autumn in Waldniel.
