Emergency Aid Delivered via Multi-Story Building's Top Level
On Thursday afternoon, the Volunteer Fire Department of Aurich and the fire department from Wallinghausen joined forces to rescue a patient from an upper floor of a building in Kampenland street.
The patient, in need of immediate assistance, was located on the upper floors of the building. Paramedics and firefighters worked together to reach the patient, using the conventional route through the stairwell due to structural conditions on-site that did not allow for the use of the turntable ladder.
Once the patient was successfully rescued, they were transported to an ambulance and subsequently taken to a hospital for further treatment. The Volunteer Fire Department of Aurich provided support during the rescue operation, while the fire department from Wallinghausen also participated.
Sönke Geiken from the Volunteer Fire Department Aurich has been identified as the contact person for inquiries about the rescue operation in Kampenland street. For more information, you can reach out to the Volunteer Fire Department's press office at [email protected] or contact the City Fire Department Press Spokesperson at 0176 70268947.
There is currently no publicly available information about the individuals in the professional fire department team of the volunteer fire brigade Aurich who supported the emergency on the previous Thursday in Kampenlandstraße.
After the rescue operation, the patient was subsequently transported to an ambulance and taken to the hospital for further treatment. The Volunteer Fire Department of Aurich continues to serve the community, ready to respond to emergencies whenever needed.
