DRK Geisa Hosts Free Event: Understanding Patient Directives on Oct 22

The DRK Geisa Local Community is hosting a vital patient information event on October 22, 2025. The free event, titled 'Understanding Patient Directives', aims to educate attendees about these crucial documents, their validity, and how to complete them effectively. No registration is required, and all are welcome, regardless of age.

The event, held at 3 PM in the Gangolfisaal in Geisa, will be led by Frau Michel, a representative of VDK Betreuung Fulda. She will delve into the definition of patient directives, also known as advance directives, and their importance. She will also cover when these directives are legally valid and what information they should include to be effective.

Frau Michel will be joined by members of the Palliative Care Team Wartburgkreis, who will provide additional insights and answer questions. Coffee and cake will be served, and Silvio Wiegand will be present to discuss the home emergency call service.
