Donation supports emergency medicine: Landkreis Foundation gives €2,500 to Fürth's Emergency Medicine Association.
The District Foundation Fuerth, established under the roof of the 'Stiftergemeinschaft der Sparkasse Fuerth,' has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare in the District of Fuerth. The Foundation, supported by a Board of Trustees, recently donated 2,500 euros to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Notfallmedizin Fuerth e.V. for the 'Fuerth SHOCKS!' project.
The 'Fuerth SHOCKS!' project aims to quickly and effectively revive individuals in emergency situations, thereby increasing the chances of survival. By promoting the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and guiding first responders through the 'Region of Life Savers' app, the project seeks to strengthen the population for emergencies.
The Board of Trustees, including Evelyn Mayer, Michael Bischoff, Renate Krach, and Landrat Bernd Obst, decided on the use of the annual income from the foundation capital for this project. Bernd Obst, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasized the importance of quick help in emergencies during the handover. He also stated that it is a common responsibility to provide more security in the community.
The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Notfallmedizin Fuerth e.V. is the recipient of the District Foundation's donation for the 'Fuerth SHOCKS!' project. This donation aims to strengthen quick help through AED devices and save lives.
In addition to the District Foundation's support, Siemens Healthineers also donated 2,500 euros to the project on July 30, 2025.
