Caritas Day Care Facilities in Neuss to Reopen on June 8th

After a prolonged closure due to the coronavirus measures, the Caritas day care facilities in the Rhein district of Neuss will reopen on June 8th, 2020. This announcement brings relief to caregivers and enriches the lives of those in need of care.

Upon reopening, several measures will be in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests. Every morning, staff and guests will undergo a brief screening according to Robert Koch Institute guidelines. Upon arrival, guests must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from each other. A register will be kept to trace possible contacts.

Those who have been in a hospital, rehabilitation, or preventive care facility within the past 14 days will only be allowed with a negative Covid-19 test result.

The focus on the first day will be on gradually rebuilding familiarity. On Monday, the focus will be on helping guests feel comfortable and safe in the new environment.

In addition to the day care facilities in Neuss, Caritas facilities in Dormagen, Grevenbroich-Mitte, Kapellen, and Meerbusch will also reopen on the same day. Hans W. Reisdorf, the chairman of the Caritas Association Rhein-Kreis Neuss, has approved the reopening of these facilities.
