Carbon Monoxide Incident at Cologne Kart Center: 20 Hospitalized

A major incident unfolded at a local kart center in Cologne, with around 50 people affected. 20 individuals were rushed to nearby hospitals after experiencing symptoms like dizziness, headaches, and nausea. Carbon monoxide was detected at the scene.

The incident occurred during normal go-kart operations. A visitor's complaint of nausea and headaches initially alerted staff, leading to an ambulance being called. Upon arrival, firefighters' carbon monoxide alarms went off, indicating elevated levels of the gas in the hall. The police are now investigating the cause of this incident.

Approximately 50 people were present at the kart center when the incident occurred. 20 individuals were taken to hospitals for treatment. The police are currently investigating the cause of the carbon monoxide leak.
