Solé water, a saturated solution of natural salt (often Himalayan pink salt) dissolved in water, has gained popularity as a natural electrolyte drink that offers potential health benefits related to hydration and electrolyte balance.

If the crystal dissolves completely, an additional salt crystal is added and allowed to rest in the water for another 24 hours.

When ready to use, the jar is uncovered, the water is stirred, and 1 teaspoon of the infusion (known as Sole) is measured into a glass of water and drunk first thing in the morning. Solé can also be used to help rehydrate the body after exercise or on hot days.

However, it's important to note that potential risks come mainly from excessive salt intake, which can lead to high blood pressure, water retention, and kidney strain. If the Sole is too strong, it can be diluted by mixing 1 teaspoon of Sole into a quart of water to sip throughout the day instead of 1 cup of water in the morning.
