Affidea Romania, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient care, and cancer treatment, has unveiled an ambitious investment plan for 2025, with a commitment to exceed EUR 100 million. This substantial investment will be directed towards two key objectives: expanding the national network and equipping clinics with modern investigation equipment.

Since its inception in 1991, Affidea Romania has grown significantly, employing 285 people in 2024 and operating 74 clinics across Romania. The national chain now covers 32 cities, with new clinics recently opened in Otopeni, Miercurea Ciuc, and Braila.

The first objective of the investment plan is to further expand Affidea's presence across Romania. Funds will be allocated towards acquiring or developing new medical facilities, aiming to strengthen the company's position in the Romanian healthcare market.

The second objective is to equip existing and new clinics with the most modern investigation and diagnostic equipment. This investment will enhance the quality of healthcare services provided, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Affidea Romania offers a wide range of imaging services, including CT, MRI, PET-CT, scintigraphy, mammography, radiography, ultrasound, DEXA, and laboratory tests.

In addition to these services, Affidea Romania also offers telemedicine services, consultations for all medical specialties, and medical recovery services. The company's net profit was RON 14.6 million (EUR 3 million) in 2024, and it posted a turnover of RON 120 million (EUR 24 million) in the same year, marking an increase from RON 93 million in 2023.

Affidea Romania is part of the Affidea group, the largest European provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient care, and cancer treatment, operating approximately 410 centres in 15 countries. Răzvan Predica serves as the Affidea Cluster CEO for Romania, Hungary, and Greece.

This investment is a testament to Affidea Romania's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services and improving access to modern medical facilities across the country. With these investments, Affidea Romania continues to play a vital role in the Romanian healthcare sector.
