Kupsch, who started her career in the entertainment industry nearly 60 years ago, has since appeared in numerous TV formats such as "Tatort," "Die Krimistunde," "Die Kommissarin," and "Für alle Fälle Stefanie." Krahn expressed that it is a matter of decency to take care of his partner and compared Kupsch's care for him to his current role as her caregiver. "I do it gladly," he said, adding, "We've been together for almost 45 years. You have to do that for your partner, otherwise you are a jerk. And I am sure Anita would have done the same for me."
The impact of Kupsch's dementia on her acting career is unclear as additional information about her diagnosis and its progression was not available. Regardless, it is evident that her dementia has significantly impacted her personal and professional life. The couple is currently focusing on living comfortably and supporting each other through this challenging time.
