76-Year-Old Man Severely Injured in Midtown Robbery
A 76-year-old man was severely injured in a robbery in midtown yesterday afternoon. The attack occurred around 2:30 PM as the senior was returning to his apartment on Gormannstraße. The Police Directorate 5's Special Deployment Command Berlin (SEK) is handling the case.
The senior was pushed to the ground by the attacker and punched repeatedly in the face, resulting in a head wound. He was then taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is being led by a specialized robbery unit from Police Directorate 5 (City). The SEK Berlin is the special unit responsible for this case.
The robbery resulted in the senior's injury and the theft of money from his wallet. The police are actively investigating the case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
